A little help. A smoother workflow.
Get connected, troubleshoot, and get back to building.
Start in three steps
- 01
Start listening on your computer
Enable an HTTP proxy in your debugging tool and allow connections from devices on your local network.
- 02
Use the same Wi-Fi network
Connect your computer and iPhone to the same local network. Make sure client isolation is disabled.
- 03
Find and connect
Open Wi-Fi ProxyMate, confirm the port, find devices, choose an available environment, and tap Start.
The default scan port is 8080. Change it in the app if your desktop tool uses another port. On first use, allow Local Network access and confirm the iOS network configuration prompt.
When something isn’t working
Check that both devices use the same Wi-Fi network, local-network access is enabled on the computer, and the macOS firewall allows incoming connections to your debugging tool. The port must match too.
Need a hand?
Include your iOS version, app version, port, and a screenshot. Don’t send proxy passwords, certificate private keys, or complete network request content.
A direct support contact will be added before the public launch. In the meantime, the troubleshooting guide above may help.
